Turning 50 is hard for most people to swallow. It was a huge turning point in my life. When I turned 50 I asked myself what is there to look forward to?  I pretty much have lived life, raised my kids, built a career and in won’t be long before 10 years comes around and then I’ll be at the end of my working life.  All I kept thinking about is this next chapter is my life and it looks pretty grim I mean who looks forward to getting old.  I had to snap myself out of this and change my attitude.  I made some changes and now I’m loving life after 50. Here is a post on fats. Don’t be afraid of eating fats. Fats are your friend.   Why are healthy fats important?  If you want to get a flat belly fast, you MUST eat plenty of fat. At the same time, not just any fat will do…some fats are no good at all, while others are health-boosting and fat-burning rockstars! In Canada, we are fortunate to have access to clean drinking water, but we sometimes forget just how important it is and the benefits it can provide us. How can I remember to drink more water? Drink water with your meals. Keep a pitcher of water on the table for easy access. Freeze water in freezer- safe water bottles. Take a bottle with you for cold water on the go Carry a water bottle with you at work, at school or when running errands. Eating out?
